Product information for delivery

Our products may be delivered chilled or frozen, if frozen this will be indicated on the primary packaging label, once defrosted do no refreeze. Our intension is to send out a freshly packed and chilled product but due to availability or timing of your order occasionally some products will be supplied frozen. Where a specific product becomes unavailable it will be substituted with a similar product. We endeavor to send your order to you within 2-5 days. All orders will receive a phone call prior to dispatch to ensure safe delivery of your purchase.

Our Eco friendly box is just "Shear Magic" and it looks good too!

Our meat box is lined with wool & if it can keep sheep snug through the winter gales, it can keep chops chilled en-route to our customers.

Developed originally for the National Trust, the Biodegradable fibreboard box is lined with 50ml thick slabs of felted wool from British Hill sheep. Wool has proved an exceptionally effective insular as well as being safe, environmentally friendly and recyclable. It is necessary to use ice packs (true of all insulated containers) but unlike other materials the fleece works with the ice packs to maintain cool temperatures. The fleece is contained within a biodegradable plastic bag, lightly perforated to allow the moisture to be absorbed. Tested with a Gemini Tracking device, the boxes keep foods well within recommended food safety temperatures for fresh and frozen meat products.
